Frequently Asked Questions

How do I choose the right course for my level?

We publish level guidance and prerequisite skills on each catalog listing. If you’re unsure, contact us with a short description of your goals and portfolio stage, and we’ll recommend a path.

What does “mentor-led critique” look like?

You’ll submit drawings, notes, and material choices prior to a live session. Mentors then annotate and discuss proportion, contrast, material honesty, and sequencing, with concrete revisions to try.

Are sessions live or self-paced?

We offer both. Live cohorts include scheduled critiques and deadlines. Video formats are self-paced with optional mentor sessions you can book as needed.

Do you issue certificates?

Yes, selected programs include a verified certificate once you’ve passed portfolio checks and final project milestones. Look for the “Certificate” badge on the catalog.

What tools and software are required?

We recommend a drafting tool (CAD or vector-based), a presentation tool, and spreadsheets for spec sheets. Exact requirements are listed per course.

How much time should I allocate each week?

Most learners dedicate 4–8 hours weekly. Capstone studios may require 10–12 hours to meet critique standards.

What is your refund policy?

Refunds are available within 7 days of enrollment for self-paced courses if less than 20% of content is viewed. Live cohorts follow a separate policy outlined in Terms.

How do I get support during a course?

Discussion boards and mentor office hours are available in live formats. Self-paced courses include Q&A threads moderated weekly.
